Today, we busted out a red outfit, hauled our fannies up to the mall, met up with the hubby, and...went to see the man with a laugh like a bowl full 'o jelly!
Baby Girl did SO good; I was SO proud!
She'd just woken from a teensy-eensy car nap, so she was still warming up when we got to Santa's Village (that was actually set up like an igloo as a cross promotion for the DVD release of Ice Age: Continental Drift (gotta love marketing).
Here she is checking out the fake snow that's falling from the igloo ceiling (and a little girl in front of us, who was scooping it up and playing with it, naturally) instead of looking at Daddy, who was taking the picture.
And here she is (drum roll, please!) with the big man!
Look--a smile!! No crying!! And just some minor beard-tugging, but no official chomping, like with Mama's hair! Yay!!
She was so chill. And precious. And Santa was really sweet. And for the record, we asked for a tooth for Christmas (*fingers crossed*).
Here she is with Mama over lunch after the official Santa moment.
Okay, now pause for a sec, and look at her face in the above pic. But not just at the general adorableness; look at the cheek. Doesn't that look like a DIMPLE?!! I keep telling the hubby I see one and he says it's just "cheek fat." The nerve!! Cheek fat...men.
And here she is with that cheek-fat claiming hubby ;)
For the record, that face of hers is saying: I'm gonna get that chicken nugget. I'm gonna get it! Soon, Baby Girl. Someday soon!
And here she is zonked out after all the excitement. Big day, big day.
What a joyful season ;)
