Weekend Snaps

This is Baby Girl with her Aunt and Uncle, who were with us on Friday night and Saturday morning.

These are Baby Girl's socks, after she dipped them in syrup while we were out to breakfast Saturday morning. And by "dipped," I mean she thrashed until she knocked over the syrup, and then planted her foot in the destruction.

This is Baby Girl's angelic look, in the car on Saturday afternoon, while running errands. I suspect her exhaustion was largely due to the large amount of not sleeping she'd logged Friday night. The culprit: more teething pain.

This is Baby Girl's face when we fed her avocado Saturday night. I suspect the disgrunt (can I make that a word?) was mostly due to the consistency, since her Daddy and I were too lazy to puree since we were running a little behind our usual dinner schedule.

This is Baby Girl's exhausted look on Sunday, after she'd logged a bunch more time not sleeping on Saturday night (do you sense a theme here?).

This is Baby Girl rallying when she spotted Mama watching her, knowing that if she showed the exhaustion, Mama would haul her to her crib for a nap.

These are Baby Girl's green beans for tonight. I'm irrationally proud of making her food, even though it only requires me to boil and blend. And these little Baby Bullet containers are just too cute--especially sitting next to the adult-sized items in the fridge.

And this is the nifty date-dial on the Baby Bullet containers that will keep Mama from feeding Baby Girl spoiled food several days from now when I can't remember my name, let alone the date I boiled some green beans.
