Easter Fun--Day 3

At long last (despite two days of post interruptions), we've made it to Day 3 of the Easter Eggstravaganza. The Big Day!

Someday soon, when she's old enough to understand in some way, I look forward to sharing with my beautiful Baby Girl the true meaning of this holiday. It's so easy to forget the sacrifice amidst all the festivities, but I do hope that the hubby and I can do our parts and keep the focus centered on the resurrection as our family grows. If we can accomplish that, this holiday will be always be rich with joy, regardless of where we are and who we're able to be with. But along the way, I'll be so grateful if we can continue to celebrate with friends and family who mean so much to us. It's just the cherry on top of a deliciously wonderful sundae.

Now for some picture fun!

So, here is our freaking adorable little peanut in her Easter finery :)

And here is our little peanut in her car seat yawning (minus hair bow) on the way to the early church service that I'm totally impressed we were able to make it to:

And here's our little peanut totally engrossed in her uncle--I mean, the sermon:

Still totally riveted:

Smiling for one of a few million pictures Mama insisted on after the service:

Cooperating beyond my wildest expectations (thanks in large part to my bro--a.k.a., the photographer--who was making awesomely wonderful silly faces so chica would smile:

Greeting the Easter Bunny (chica's grandpa is the best...not that he had anything to do with this surprise visit...I'm just sayin' in general, he's awesome *wink, wink*), who made an appearance at the house toward the end of our beautifully prepared and orchestrated brunch (thanks a million times over to Nanna who did all the backbreaking work):

Smiling with her daddy and uncle (notice how her cousin, who loves her soooo much is smiling at her instead of the camera):

I hope you all had a lovely Easter like we did, and I wish us all a beautiful Springtime to come!
