The Zoo For Some Party Animals!

So...someone is having a big bday this week (ahem--Nanna, *cough*). But since I'm a lady, and a wonderful, fabulous, oh-so-kind daughter, I won't say which bday.

I'll just let this cheesecake say it for me.

So as a surprise for the big day, Nanna was dragged down to Texas for a visit with not just her daughter, son-in-law and beloved granddaughter, but...ALL her immediate family.

Woohoo!

She had no idea. It was super fun. Especially since deviousness is a family trait.

Now, naturally, it wasn't just enough for us to all be together to celebrate. No, no, no. We had to go sweat it out in the July heat at The Dallas Zoo. 'Cause that's how we roll. (Remember the Arboretum last July???)

So enjoy all these pics. And as you do, imagine two things: 1) Chica waving at every animal ('cause she did), and 2) some actual animals in any of these pics ('cause there aren't any--ha).
