Mainly because it requires her to: a) get that cute little pointer finger up (it's the gospel light, of course), and b) keep it up, especially when we get to the verse about not letting Satan "poof" it out. She just luuuuuvs to make the "poof" sound like we're trying to blow out the candle.
She luuuuuvs it so much, in fact, that she's got her gospel light at-the-ready in the morning when I get her our of her crib, in the evening, when she's drinking her milk before bed, and, well, just about any other time of day--like when she's in her car seat running errands with Mama:
I love her gospel light. And I love that she's so into it that she even does a little wiggle dance when we sing it.
Warms this Mama's heart :)
P.S. I should note that occasionally, the gospel light is actually at-the-ready because Chica wants to push the garage door button, or turn off a light switch. Can't fault the little Chica--she's just on pointer finger overload!
;)
