IT'S A GIRL!

So today was the big sonogram, and (as this post title totally gives away), we found out...

WE'RE HAVING ANOTHER GIRL!!!

So now I'm blessed to have both a Chica and a Chicklet.

First and foremost, everything looks healthy. The little lady is measuring right at 21 weeks (which I'll be on Sunday), and all her anatomy looks good. More importantly, the sonogram technician said she has a "beautiful heart"--which I've decided to take both literally and figuratively, as it was such a lovely thing to hear.

But, of course, it's always fun to see the little booger moving around in there to try and get some visuals, so I'll share what we got.

This is Chicklet giving us the shaft--er, spine. Apparently, she was a little camera shy and decided to turn away from us paparazzi.

And this is a close-up shot of her face. But to really see it, you have to look to the right (not at that circle bit on the left) and sort of squint your eyes like you're looking at one of those 3-D images from the 90's that pops out at you when you finally go lazy-eyed.

(Don't worry. I won't judge you if it just looks like a blob to you. As long as you acknowledge it's my beautiful miracle of a blob.)

Despite trying, we didn't get a great profile shot--again, she was being shy. But can you blame a girl?? I mean, she's nude in there, for the love! And she is a lady. But I'm just so thrilled to know everything is progressing as it should.

And I'm soooooo thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to raise sisters. What a beautiful gift. (And the hubby is also thrilled--just doubling our monthly allocation toward savings.)

All joking aside, if we are blessed with another sweet, feisty, bright, beautiful (inside and out) daughter like the one we already have outside the womb, it will be an embarrassment of riches.
