Hustle & Bustle

So I'll admit that, given the timing of our move, I'll be the first to admit that it's been a bit of an unorthodox holiday season.

Thankfully, we've still been lucky enough to spend time with family and loved ones (which is the most important thing of all), we've just missed some of the fun of the holiday chaos out in the world beyond our new, four walls.

The shopping, the festive food, the crowds--it all can drive a person insane, but it certainly wraps you up in the hustle & bustle of the season, and we've been wanting some of that. So over the last couple of days, we've tried to fit some in.

Of course, it's hard with a very active toddler, and harder still when that very active toddler is under the weather, but I think Chica has enjoyed our outings, although the couple hours here and there have pooped her out.

Here are a couple pics from yesterday:

Here she is asleep in my arms in one store.

Because of her positioning, I think I scared a couple of gentlemen into thinking I was nursing--ha. I vacillated between embarrassment and enjoyment over making them squirm while they wondered ;)

And here are a couple pics from today:

Sweet, little nugget. All tuckered out.

Here's hoping we got her just tired enough to sleep better than she did last night--for all our sakes! 'Cause I love my kiddo, but I don't want to spend the hours of 2-5 a.m. up with her again!

Happy Saturday, peeps!
