Window Watching

Chica and I had some good, quality time this morning in the playroom. And part of it involved peeking through the three large windows and pointing things out--the neighbor's dogs, a big truck--you know, all the fun words she likes to say.

But as I stepped back and watched her jabber away expressively, I had a flash to one day, years from now, when I'll watch her stand by those same windows and I'll remember how she was once barely tall enough to see over the ledge :)

When we first moved in, I thought I might want some sort of roman shade in these large playroom windows, but I've grown to love the light so much, I think they're going to remain bare--with perhaps just some playful-colored curtains to add a little punch. Who knows. We'll see, we'll see. But for now, they're excellent for gazing and playing.

Happy Hump Day, peeps!
