A (Different) Tree is Reborn

So...remember this fiasco?

Well, I am very happy to report that we've finally made some happy progress is Chicklet's room!

We ordered a new tree from the same Etsy vendor that made the very sticky branch decals in Chica's room. Of course, the vendor is in China to it took its sweet time to arrive stateside, but it finally did, and this past weekend, we got to work on Tree: Take 2.

I'm soooooo freaking happy to report that it only took about half an hour to get it on the wall (miracle of all miracles!):

Then, over the course of a few days, I fluffed the Pom flowers and attached them as time allowed. 

And around that time, the glider arrived and made its way upstairs (woohoo!). So here's the tree (and an adorable Chica--with her balloon, naturally) when we were early in the bloom process:

I just love how it turned out (thank heavens!). And I love the glider (courtesy of Tar-jay, peeps), and love love the peach pillow we found that coordinates so well with the Pom flowers.

So finally, finally I feel like we're making real progress!

The crib, dresser and nightstand should arrive in the next week or two, so stay tuned for more!
