First Valentine's Cards!

A few weeks ago, I read about a cute art project idea that involved saving empty toilet paper tubes that you squish into heart shapes and dip into paint. Cute, eh??

Well, the squished tubes don't exactly make perfect hearts, but it was a fun little way for Chica to make her first Valentine's cards for loved ones :)

I must confess, though, that while Chica was mildly interested in the painting process (or rather, the trying-to-stick-her-fingers-directly-into-the-paint process), she went nutso for the stickers that I bought to go along with them.

They were thicker (translation: easier for 19-month-old fingers), and she just luv luv luuuuuved placing them on the cards.

Such a cute look of concentration...

So hopefully, if Mama gets them addressed they can arrive in mailboxes soon :)
