Lovely Lawn Luncheon

We're in that blessedly, wonderfully, luuuuuuverly stretch of weather in Texas between the scorching heat and the freezing cold (doesn't last long!) and boy do I love it.

Trying to soak up as much pleasant outdoors time as possible with the girlies during this beautiful phase.

Hence, our lawn picnic today :)

Why is it that a turkey sandwich tastes soooo much better when you're lounging on a quilt?

Or in Chica's case, taking drive-by bites in between coloring with her chalk.

Little one got her grubby mits on a snap pea crisp, so I let her munch. She's getting more into food these days, though she can still generally take it or leave it--ha.

Lovely, lovely day full of fun play indoors and out. I'll post about our little craft project mañana.
