To Top It All Off

Last Sunday at church, Chica played with a little girl who was wearing (excited gasp!) a tiara.

And it was pretty much the coolest thing in the world.

Especially when the sweet little girl let Chica wear it for a bit.

How we had not purchased a tiara up to that point, I'll never know. But after seeing the twinkle in Chica's eye, I knew it would be next on our purchase list to add to our princess couture collection.

Aaaaaand...here it is (pretend it's not a blurry motion shot, m'kay?):

Doesn't she look regal? Like she should have a little handbag draped on that bent arm, a la Queen Elizabeth.

:)

Gotta give it to those smart Disney peeps again. I'd been warned of the easily breakable nature of royal headgear, but this one isn't plastic. It's some crazy bendable thing--even the beads that create the top bit can be smooshed any which way without fear of snapage (yep, I made that a word).

Of course, Chica put her own spin on it, wearing it like a headband so the decorative part created a funny-looking visor--ha.

This is her you-told-me-to-smile-for-a-pic-so-I'm-going-to-do-the-exact-opposite pose:

What can I say?

Even royals gets weary in the public eye.

;)

Lovely weekend with my fam, peeps. Hope you all had a lovely one, as well!
