Easter Bunny 2015

The grass is greening, the trees are blooming, there's more rain than sun, and I spotted my first mosquito...all of which can only mean two things:

1. It's Spring

2. It's time to terrorize innocent young babes with the sight of a freakishly large, mute bunny of the Easter variety.

And...here we are:

Better than last year's hysterical (in the not very funny way) shot, but still hilariously awkward--ha.

Both girls were doing well, all things considered, because we were the only ones there and could take our time in the grassy play area near the big, bad Bunny without coming into direct contact with him yet.

But then the Bunny had to go and wave at Chicklet (thereby, moving for the first time) and she sort of lost it. (And seriously--who can blame her?) So we swooped in for a pic before things could totally fall apart, and then swiftly fled the scene.

As a result I managed to only capture a few pics this year, the majority of which feature Chicklet's back. But hey--they're better than nothing! And I love this first one :)

Gotta love fun and awkward traditions like this. At least until the girlies are old enough to kindly request I cut it out ;)

Happy WEEKEND, peeps!
