Golf Course Project

Last week, when we had a few consecutive rainy days, the girlies and I did a handful o' projects to stay entertained, but I never had a chance to post the pics, so I'll try to share them today and tomorrow before they get lost in my backlog of pics!

First up...one of our Kiwi Crate projects for the month--a fun, grass and bug golf course (or technically, just one hole [but nobody cares about technicalities, right? Especially in golf.]).

No paints or tools of destruction were involved in this project, so we set things up in the playroom and let Chicklet join in.

First up: assembling some bugs with felt circles, pipe cleaners and googly eyes :)

Then we thread the pipe cleaner bugs through the pre-drilled holes in the fun little grass, golf course hole:

Next up: assembling our homemade golf club--which was basically a long tube with a thick leaf attached to it:

Unfortunately, Chicklet got her hands on the club and weaponization (is that a word?) commenced:

But Chica wrestled it back for a quick, test putt:

Unfortunately (yet again), Chicklet got it back and, ahem, dissembled, shall we say?

Oh well. At least the golf hole stayed intact. And even better--we have our own handy-dandy set of golf clubs to play with, so no harm, no foul.

We continue to luuurv our Kiwi Crate projects, and just got our new box for the month in the mail, so more fun coming soon!
