Color Separation Project

It's Kiwi Crate time!

This month's theme is The Science of Color, and Chica picked the color separation lab as our first task.

First up: setting up the mess mat and filling the cups with water.

Next, we selected our favorite colored markers to draw on our papers.

Chicklet helped, too :)

We tried different color combinations and then dipped each paper in water to watch them blend together.

Oooooh. Ahhhhhh.

After we finished coloring all our papers, we used clothes pins to clip them to a string so we could hang them somewhere to let them dry. And what better place than to hang them than from the playroom curtain rod?

Oooooh. Ahhhhh.

Chica thought it was pretty nifty. And of course, once they were dry, she used the string as a necklace ;)

Nice to add a tiny bit of science to our crafts.

Happy Tuesday, peeps!
