Tic-Tac-Toe Bug Project

Yesterday, we did the second part of this month's Kiwi Crate--the Bug Tic-Tac-Toe project. Woohoo!

Just look at these cutie-pie little bug nuggets:

So, you start with the play-doh-like molding clay (in yellow and red). Roll it out...

Check it out...

Then grab one of the plastic bug wings and smoosh it right in the middle...

Before you smoosh the entire dang bug right in half around the wings...

Then repeat the process until you have ten bugs.

Look how fun!

But then comes the really fun part--the decorating! Eyes, spots and stripes!

Chica always takes her decorating responsibilities very seriously.

Of course, even the most devout crafters have to pause for their favorite scenes in Tangled.

Then back to work finishing the bugs and placing them in the tic-tac-toe box.

So lovely. (And so are the bugs.)

Of course, Chica's still a little young to fully grasp the game, so for now, she's just content to admire her winged friends and carry around the container like a purse :)

Happy WEEKEND, peeps!
