Today, Chica and I took the opportunity to do a project just the two of us, while Chicklet was still napping, since it involved glue (and that could have gotten messy in the wrong tiny hands).
Enter...the fish lantern:
First up: expand the globe for the fishy's body:
Next...lay out the glue and paper dots. There were tons of iridescent ones that were super pretty and shiny:
After the fish was covered in lots of pretty dots, we taped on the blue fins, and added the googly eyes.
Last up: the very best part (according to Chica). The little light to attach to a string and hang the globe.
Unfortunately, she much preferred to just hold and play with the light instead of let the fishy have it. Ha.
So, fine. Chica can have it :)
The fish is still cute without it.
And my sweet girl carried her mini light around the entire afternoon/evening.
