Silly Straw Smiles

Fact:

My girlies love icees.

Fact:

In particular, blue icees are pretty much the bees knees.

Fact:

I'm one of those rockstar mothers who gives their children said blue, bees-knees icees without an ounce of sugar remorse.  

Fact: 

Today, when the Target employee gifted Chica with a swirly straw for her blue icee, she almost exploded with happiness.

(I mean, seriously. Just look at that face.)

Fact:

Chica always shares the icee with her sister, without complaining (though the same cannot be said in reverse; it's a good thing we get it upon exiting the store, if they've behaved well).

Fact:

When not holding and sipping the icee, Chica voiced the following gems as we left.

"This is the best. day. ever!"

"This is so awesome!"

And I'm pretty sure everyone who saw the doctor/princess bubbling over with such unabashed happiness over her icee cracked at least a smile.

See. We're just sharing the joy, peeps. Sharing the joy.
