A Slow, Happy Sunday

Though we didn't make it to church today like we did last week, we were blessed with our second Sunday in a row of just good, quality family time that involved playing, grocery shopping, football, and just hanging close to home.

So restorative.

And so soothing to have a pretty cloudy day for it, too.

Soothing enough that Chica was lulled into her first nap in a couple of weeks :)

Here's Chicklet staying entertained at the grocery store (girlfriend just loves chomping on an apple):

Here's Chica with her pint-sized shopping cart. First time we let her use one and it was beyond adorable--though heels beware, 'cause she ain't the best driver:

But, man, did she look adorable perusing the food:

Here are Chicklet's new tennis shoes. Stinking adorable--and soooo needed:

My kiddy cat kiddo, curled up at the foot of our bed, surrounded by her quiet time books and toys:

Again, Chicklet with her new kicks:

And both my crazies with the tiny spatulas they were treated to at the grocery store. They keep stealing all my real cooking utensils!

Love my girlies. Love my hubby. Love my Baby Boy, even though he's hanging happily inside instead of OUT, ha.
