It's been radio silence on this here blog for the last couple of days because I've been enjoying a beyond-wonderful visit with my very dearest friend, the Godmother of my children :)
She arrived in town Thursday night, and we've spent the last few days dining, playing, crafting, walking to the pond, dying of happiness over The Meal she always cooks when I birth babies, sneaking away for a movie, watching one at home, and visiting, visitng, visiting!
It soooooo does my soul good to see her, and I'm so grateful for the time we had with her.
Then today (or really, last night) we widened our company circle to welcome grandparents and other godparents and a great-aunt and an uncle to celebrate my beautiful boy's baptism!
I'll let the pics speak for themselves and just say as a final note that I could not few more blessed to have created three beautiful baptism memories for each of my children, always including the same cast of loving characters (and delicious fried chicken) that I'm so thankful to have in our lives.
God is good.
