Tonight, I did a load of whites that had seven socks without mates.

Seven different socks without mates.

SEVEN.

HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE???

Heaven help us if the kids' socks had been in that load, too. We'd probably hit double digits of lonely footwear.

Sigh.

In other non-related, non-vital, but cute and airy news for this Super Bowl Sunday--here is the $3.99 purchase we made:

A Frozen princess basketball net/goal thingie (technical term).

I suspect Daddy will get as much use out of it as the girls ;)

But I also suspect it will help Chica discern the difference between basketball and soccer. She keeps comfusing the two names. And I love it.

Wish we had a longer weekend (and that my socks had mates), but I'll take what we got!
