Easter Shoes--2016

So after Chica's freaking adorable, she-fell-in-love-hard-with-four-inch-sequined-heels episode about a month back, I'd been shopping around for the perfect toned-down version for her. But I hadn't pulled the trigger.

And then today, we happened to go in The Disney Store, where they had some glorious, new footwear options. Finally.

So, ladies and gentlemen (drumroll puh-lease), I give you the 2016 Easter shoes:

Insanely cute, yes? Heels. Shimmery, silvery, opalescent material. And a faux rhinestone. What more could a girl ask for???

An adorable, aqua insole, that's what.

She loves 'em. And it'll be hell to hold her off on outdoor wear until Easter.

Correction: until some Easter pics the kiddos will be taking next week :)

I also got Chicklet some super-adorable, shiny flats today. They're so, so cute...but somehow pale in comparison to the heels. But I had no choice! The heels didn't come in her size. Boooo.

I must remind myself Chica didn't have Easter heels when she was (nearly!) two. So next year, sweet Chicklet will have them, too. Until then...both pairs are still beautiful together.

And this riot of a pose is beautiful, too.

Now I must work hard to focus as much on the reason for the Easter celebration as the footwear that accompanies it.

The most worthwhile endeavor of all!
