My Haggard Is Showing, Apparently

So...we were in the Dollar Tree store today (a recent fun and silly fave of ours) to check out their Halloween loot, and Chicklet saw this and said, "Mama, look. It's you."

Umm.

Huh.

Really?

I mean, I know I'm not getting the best sleep lately while we adjust to our new schedule, but am I full-on not right/undead???

Though, if we're being realsies, I'm sorta flattered. I guess. Kind of. I mean, the chick was beautiful--once.

But now she's just slightly wrong, so I feel like I should net out on the side of taking offense, ha.

Regardless. I suppose I love that she sees a woman with her hair up (let's face it, it's my reality) and thinks of her Mama. Hehe.

More tomorrow on the great settling-in that is this fourth week of Chica's school, but for now, some pics of our inexpensive finds to add to our growing decor:

I've discovered that I only approve of the cutesy Halloween decor. Spooky but cute is fine, and spiders and happy ghosts are as creepy as I'll go. Otherwise, keep the ghouls and gross in the store, ha.

And I luuuuuuurv how enthusiastic my kiddos are with this stuff. They are full on in it, and it's the best.
