Christmas Day—2017

Well, peeps. I’m not gonna lie. It feels a bit anticlimactic to post some Christmas Day pics more than two weeks after the fact, ha.

But life has been busy and full lately. Busyfull, if you will. So I’m just rolling with it and taking the better-way-late-than-never approach.

Not much needs to be said to go along with these pictures, but I’ll give you a few random thoughts from m’brain anhwaha, m’kay? M’kay.

First—I have this thing for family matching Christmas pajamas (Shocking revelation? Hardly.). And this year’s set particularly cracked me up—simply because I had them altered from long-sleeved to short-sleeved and I’ll never forget the look on the tailor’s face when I made that request.

Needless to say, they thought I was as crazy-town as I am, but I’ve been totally justified in my decision to alter, because my girlies have worn their nightgowns and ton, and wouldn’t be able to do so if they were long-sleeved, ‘cause they sleep hot and these pjs are fleece.

So call me crazy. And I’ll take it. But it worked. And I loved ‘em. Over and out.

Second—the wigs. Oh the wigs. I mean, how often do you get to put your kiddos in crazy cute wigs (that ridiculously complement their skin tone!) when it’s not Halloween?

So the wigs were fun.

And were part of the Descendents costumes requested by Chica.

Too funny. Too silly. And it’s totally cracked me up to see the wigs tossed randomly all over the house, ha.

And third—no matter how much we clamp down on the abundance of gifts, it’s always too much, we’re always too blessed, the kiddos are always too overstimulated, and our overflow gift closet is always stocked for months after the holiday. :)

But it has to be said: we had a very merry and happy holiday season with our families, and managed to get through the week of Christmas with only one kiddo on antibiotics—woohoo!

And now...pics!
