Here’s the complicated explanation, so follow carefully:
We usually end up with a ratio of one-third (room temp) hot chocolate, and two-thirds of other fun tidbits.
And here was sissy, snuggling a sad, sick Chicklet. Oye.
We drink hot chocolate on Mondays after school.

But the key ingredient to this holiday fun is that we don’t just drink plain hot chocolate in plain mugs.
Oh-hooooo no.
We create a mini hot chocolate bar (er, table) with tasty samplings of mini marshmallows, holiday marshmallows, mini chocolate chips, holiday sprinkles, and chocolate syrup.
And then I bust out my family Christmas mugs (that Chica now adores, because I told her they were “heirlooms.” Naturally, she learned that word from a Fancy Nancy book, so her eyes lit up over the connection. ;)
And then...I just let them go nuts.
