Memorial Day Weekend—2019

As the unofficial kickoff to Summer, Memorial Day Weekend is always a welcome milestone. But this year, it felt extra-sweet, because the hubby’s work time was minimal, cousins were a’plenty, and...we had a unicorn float.

But before the unicorn splash time on Monday...we had a fun (and long!) family day, driving out to the San Marcos outlet mall. It was our first round there, and we barely scratched the surface. I honestly can’t believe the kiddos lasted as long as they did, but we peppered the Mama/Daddy shopping with kiddo-friendly shopping (hello, Disney Store outlet), so all was good. :) And so was our diner lunch and giant chess board fun, hehe.







Also...a Panera opened up just down the street. Woohoo!







And then...Monday and cousins and splashing and rainbow unicorn. :)









Daddy splashed hard. ;)





Grateful for some relatively work-free family time—and the sacrifice of service men and women, who serve our country.
