Chicklet’s 100th Day of Kindergarten!

Ah, the time-honored tradition of celebrating that 100th day of school. :)

I remember when Chica was in kindergarten, she made a shirt with 100 things on it. Then in first grade, it was something that could fit on a sheet of paper.

And now, my beautiful, growing, soon-to-be-losing-one-of-her-top-middle-teeth Chicklet is celebrating her 100th day tomorrow (so hard to believe!)—and her assignment was a creation. And we managed the cutest, and simplest thing, with happy, adorable results.

We made a flower garden with 100 beads!

Ten beads per flower on pipe cleaners, with such cute stickers on the top. I already had the pipe cleaners and beads at home, so I just grabbed the styrofoam base and stickers at the store when I was grabbing some supplies for another school project (more on that another day). So it was truly easy breezy.

She was so diligent about counting her beads. :)

We poked holes in the styrofoam and added a little hot glue in there before we stuck the pipe cleaners in, just in case the creation gets a little shaken up em route to school, hehe.

She was so happy with her little flowers.

Seriously so happy and adorable.

Glad this one turned out so well, and my girl is so excited to bring it to school—along with her snack donation toward the 100 item feast they’re having in class.

Should be such a lovely little day for these littles.

Happy Tuesday, peeps!
