Christmas Craft Challenge—2020!

So...I have a long-standing tradition when hosting Christmas to force my family into some kind of crafty shenanigan challenge. And I lurv it. It brings out the silly and creativity in everyone, and it’s always a good time of an evening spent together.

Naturally, I was so, so the uncles in Wisconsin couldn’t be with us, but just like the rest of the world, we’re celebrating together—from afar—in the best ways possible.

So I shipped them their package of crafty tidbits last week, and this evening we set them up on an iPad stand to Zoom with us right by the table, and it went so well that this joyful smile pretty much says it all.

There may have been some four letter words on both ends of the Zoom, thanks to hot glue gun wounds. Sorry, Santa.





As always, what starts as a hilarious craft challenge ends up a wonderful display of the zany and creative minds within the family. I always love the results. 



























Grateful for any semblance of tradition and normalcy we can retain this year, peeps. And I hope you’re managing some, as well.
