We crossed a lovely Summer excursion off our list today—a visit to the Riverwalk and the kiddos’ favorite wild place to eat.
Since living here in SA, we tend to visit the Riverwalk for special rounds of fun, and usually try to sync it up with some out-of-town company so there’s more peeps to enjoy.
But thanks to the pandemic, it had been 18 months (December 2019) since our last visit. Crazy how time flies.
Despite the amazing trees in the area, it can get sweltering hot, hot, hot, so I’m very glad we tackled this at a time when the temperature was still moderate. Another couple of weeks and we’d been melting puddles on the river cruise, ha.
And, of course, the Riverwalk is always good for some posed pictures. :)

Inside for everyone’s favorite over-priced, underwhelming-food, but atmosphere that tickles the kiddos to no end. All for you, my babies! Ha. (But only a year.)
Chicklet’s booth spot was covered with her favorite animals. Perfect!
And the obligatory river ride with joke-cracking tour guide...
Grateful for some kiddo-focused entertainment before it’s seasonally sweltering!
And now for some laziness for this Friday night.
