Pumpkin Day!

So…this seems like a post I should have managed a couple of days ago, but, ya know. Weekends happen. And here’s what it might have said had it been posted on Friday night:

We may have gone big with our Halloween costume purchases today, but yesterday was also a milestone day that shouldn’t be overlooked.

Our pumpkin day!!!

I sometimes miss our DFW days full of of lots of really adorable pumpkin patches, because, for whatever reason, we just haven’t found any down here.

But it doesn’t lessen our enthusiasm one iota, and we’re lucky to have a really massive—and diverse!—pumpkin spread at our local grocery store, and we love it to bits and pieces.

And definitely overbuy by a ridiculous amount.

But we’ve got lots o’ places to decorate—the fireplace, the porch, the kiddos’ rooms—so we spread the love around and make everything happy and seasonal.

Now, please enjoy our silly pics:

It really has been such a freaking, spooky DELIGHT to launch in to this season of holidays that our household loves so very much.

Never a full day, and we’ll keep it that way for the foreseeable future!

Happy Sunday, peeps.

Over and out.
