Some Calming Moments

So…my beautiful, soulful, in-touch-with-nature, thoughtful girl sort of meandered around the front yard after church, plopped herself down by a tree with her book and declared it “peaceful.”

She enjoyed the vibe so much that she asked to go back outside later to enjoy another hit of the calm.

And so we did.

We read…



And admired the quilt-work, and matched up fabric patterns…



And just enjoyed a tidbit of quality time together.



Despite the busyness of the pre-Thanksgiving prep, I’m so cognizant of the fact that my kiddos have a break from school and I want to give them extra love and time.

So we’re going to weave some fun into our to-dos tomorrow, and hopefully, have a lovely holiday-week Monday.
