Santa Sleigh Kit & Smiles!

Oh my heavens, peeps.

When the kiddos hopped in the car at the end of their school day and reported they had ZERO homework this week, I think I just about cried.

I mean…the relief!

It’s so hard to believe that the second nine weeks is about to come to a close, and we’ll be halfway through the year.

I’m not gonna lie: it feels like a major victory to be this close to the kiddos’ holiday break from school, and with the lack of homework this week, I really feel like the worst is behind us—woohoo!

Four more school days and then…party time! :)

Now.

Because of the no homework news, and my resulting good tidings of great joy, my babies and I got to spend a solid nearly two hours just coloring away on this happy project I’d set aside, chatting and listening to Christmas music, and drinking hot chocolate on this dreary (if not actually very cold) day.

It was wonderful.

And just what we needed for this holiday Monday.

I’m really hoping we can keep the good vibes going through the rest of the week.

So…here’s hoping!

And now, a slew of pics:

Now, please note Leaf the Elf, who was under the tree this morning, decked out in a drummer outfit after he go wind of the high school drum line performance at our church yesterday, hehe.

He loves to be in the heart of all the action. :)

And thank goodness he had a better day than yesterday, when he was stuck shoveling reindeer poo, tehe.

Anywho. Back to my cute babies and their sleigh…

After it was completed, they played with it all over the house until it was time for Chica’s dance class.

And funny enough…Leaf made use of it tonight after they went to bed. ;)

Happy Monday, peeps!

Wishing everyone the energy to power through the craziness, and to enjoy all the joyful moments possible.

Over and out.
