My Singing Seahorse

Well, peeps.

It’s sort of turned into another wonky week around here—thanks to some early release school days for parent/teacher conferences, and now this winter weather rolling in.

While it remains to be seen if the ice will truly be an issue in our neck of the woods, our district preemptively canceled classes for tomorrow, and my crazies and I are pretty dang pumped to take advantage of the day and do all the good things: snuggle, vegetate, bake, project it up, and spend more screen time than we should. :)

In other news…my Chicklet has an upcoming 2nd grade musical performance next week and it’s ocean themed. All the kiddos are encouraged to dress as their favorite sea creatures, so we took the opportunity to order something that brings Chicklet major joy, and her choice is pretty much the cutest thing in the world.

I give you…my adorable singing seahorse!

She comes home every day from school and puts in on, and I just can’t stand the cuteness.

Some days, she strikes fun poses with her toys and stuffed animals in tow…

And the activity that just slayed me was the round of homework when she got home from dance class yesterday. I mean…is there anything more adorable than this???

Presh-US, I tell ya.

I’m sure it helped with the math ;)

And lastly…today, when we made it home just as the rain and cold was arriving, she looked just as stinking adorable sipping her hot chocolate.

Needless to say, I’m obsessed with my girl and her costume, and I can’t WAIT for her performance next week—and neither can she. :)

Stay warm, peeps!

Over and out.
