Painted Hearts!

Well, peeps.

WE MADE IT TO THE WEEKEND. Woohoo!

I don’t know why this seems like a particular accomplishment this week, but it does, ha.

I’m especially tickled that we don’t have much on the agenda over the next 48 hours, so we can take some time to regroup and recharge.

Mama can tackle mountains of laundry, the kiddos can live their best pajama life, and we can indulge in a family movie night.

All good things.

But before we settle in to our lazy hazy Saturday tomorrow, I channeled some of the kiddos’ silly, Friyay afternoon energy into a project: painting some wooden hearts the grandparents shipped our way last week. :)

They ended up sooooo lively and colorful (the hearts, and the kiddos, ha), and it was so great to indulge in a bit of project time after not much of it lately.

My phone camera is doing this washed-our coloring thing at times lately, and I haven’t figured out the rhyme or reason, yet. I kinda dig the pics that come from it, but they definitely stand out against the rest in my camera roll…

And here we are in the grocery store on a Friday night, ‘cause we were a bit out of routine this week and never managed to stock up on our essentials. Tulips were definitely in order. ;)
