A Hint Of Green

Well, peeps.

It’s no secret that our week’s activities—along with the weather—have been a bit all over the place. Hot, cold, gusty, calm, Winter…Spring?

Apparently, the warmth has been ramping up just enough on certain days to coax our neck of the woods in to thinking it’s time for some regrowth.

Because, look what just appeared on one of our barren trees, two days ago:

There’s really nothing like the vibrant, light green of early Spring growth, and it’s really such a small treat to be able to notice it this year.

Needless to say, this time last year, we were deep in the weeds of our heinous burst pipe home restoration, and not poking our heads up much to enjoy the blooms.

And the year before that, we were all huddled inside (except for those sacred bike rides) in lockdown.

So here’s to a touch o’ Spring—appropriately appearing during our Spring Break.

And here’s to a fun day coming up mañana (fingers crossed)!

Over and out.
