Faux (Football) Fanatic

Hellooooooo, from several days of accidentally not posting, ha.

Mostly because Grandma and Grandpa have been in town, and we’ve just been soaking in the nice, long holiday weekend. :)

And the kick-off of football season—which, admittedly, only excites me because I can track my kiddos aging in their Sooner gear, year over year.

Here they were yesterday…

And here they were, circa 2017 (I think?) and holy it HURTS.



UGH. Just punch me in the gut, why dontcha???

My babies are growing so fast these days, and it’s evident every hour of every day. But when I scroll through these then/now pics, it’s hurts me an extra heaping bunch.

Though, they’re still young enough that they’re interested in the theoretical hype of the oncoming Fall/football season, but…they’d still rather slink away after a few minutes of watching and go find something more interesting to do. Maybe they get that from their Mama. ;)

Grateful for the extra day tomorrow before we have to dive back in to routine. Hopefully I can catch up on some other posts in the next day or two.

P.S. I may be a fake football fan (well, maybe I don’t even pretend to care much at all, ha) and a non-fanatical Sooner (which is odd, since I hold a degree that should make me one, ha), but…I’ll gladly gear up the kiddos for the delight of the hubby and grandparents’. So here’s to a 2023 pic next year, when they’ll look even older!
