Spooky Lanterns!

Okay, peeps.

It’s safe to safe my boy has recovered. Big time.

In fact, judging by his level of orneriness, I’m pretty sure he just stored up allllllllll his personality while he was sick and it’s now exploding out of him in giant waves—as evidenced by this mischievous pic (that I adore):

This stinker…I tell ya. He’s not subtle. Or shy. Or reserved these days.

Needless to say, with that kind of BIG energy, we spent some time outdoors after school. Then I forced him to tackle an online math quiz while the girlies finished their homework. Ya know—just for kicks and giggles, and to make him focus, ha.

But there was still loads of energy in reserve.

So I busted out a small project to keep him busy just a bit longer.

We’ve had some major wins with a couple spooky projects this season. Our string art and melted crayon pumpkins were both fairly involved and a big hits.

But we haven’t had a ton of time for the smaller project odds and ends that I love, and the Halloween season is quickly winding down! So it was a great time to throw another one in the mix.

I give you…spooky lanterns!

Thanks to an easy breezy kit I bought online.

We love utilizing a mason jar for a project—like this mummy one from last year:

(UGH. It huuuuurts to see how much these three crazies have grown in a year!)

Anywho.

Mason jars are a staple for any fun project, and these turned out so simple and cute, thanks to the included string lights.

Happy to have a household of healthy, rambunctious kiddos again.

Here’s to keeping them that way, as long as possible!

Happy Hump Day, peeps!

Over and out.
