What happens when a never-ending rotation of illness blows up your household schedule in the weeks leading up to Christmas?
You cram anything and everything into a few last-minute days!
Sugar cookie baking?
Check.
Sugar cookie decorating?
Check.
Baking of four dozen additional cookies for a neighborhood Cookie Swap?
Check.
Sticker wreath project?
Check.
Ornament coloring project?
Check.
Gingerbread house decorating?
Check.
Throw in some cooking for a yummy family brunch, some rowdy video games, indoor dodgeball and laser tag with Daddy, a family movie viewing, and…I REALLY DON’T THINK WE COULD HAVE CRAMMED MORE IN TODAY.
Basically, every holidang thing—plus the kitchen sink, ha.
Sometime in there I had to throw on close to actually attend the Cookie Swap for an hour or so this evening—and the hubby and I had to set up the Mini Christmas for tomorrow (more on that mañana).
Have I mentioned how tired I am???
Okay…photo bomb now:
And, yes, my son has decided to pretty much never wear a shirt around the house anymore. Ha.
My feet hurt.
Off to bed!
More mañana, peeps! It’s going to be (another) raucous one.
Over and out.
