Santa Letters—2022 Edition!

Okay, peeps.

Through our church, I receive a daily, reflective text message during the holiday season, and this one was spot on:

We tend to grumble and get frustrated often. What is the last thing that made you mad for which you can actually be thankful?

Obviously, Little Man’s flu threw us for a curve ball and changed our weekend plans. But we’ve done our best to roll with the changes, utilize the time in the best way possible, and just generally regroup.

Repositioning at its finest, yes???

And what is the thing that always centers me when I’m feeling wonky and/or cranky???

Project time with the kiddos.

Yesterday was a fun Friday afternoon Grinch doodle with my silly babies…

I love Chica’s face in this one when Chicklet’s tried to photobomb her to show of her on-point t-shirt, ha…

Then we marked a major milestone with a family movie night—finally, they’re all at the perfect age for this holiday classic!

Then today (because the kiddos are desperate for our Elf to arrive and think this will do the trick), we tackled our Santa Letters! :)

Cutie-pie face…

This rascal had much more energy today, ha. A sign of improved health, for sure!

He’s also the reason I’m glad we write these letters early, as he did that thing where he put something on his wish list he’d never mentioned before, ha.

These faces when I sent them outside to run their letters to the mail…I die.

Better energy, indeed.

Then tonight…a second movie viewing. The sequel. :)

I still would have loved to proceed with the party last night, but the down time as a family, and the productive time for household and other to-dos has been solid.

So there you go.

Practicing my gratitude. ;)

Happy Saturday, peeps!

Over and out.
