Today was my BIRTHDAY, and I love birthdays, obviously. :)
Unfortunately, I had my first migraine of the season (I have a concentrated round of them every September-ish) late last night, so I was a bit run over today. Rude timing, migraine!
But it was still lovely to know it was my birthday, get a little extra love—and have the bonus luck of a super moon blue event! Which happens, well, only once in a blue moon!
Since the next super blue moon won’t occur for another fourteen years, a sweet neighbor of ours decided to host a little party in honor of the occasion. It was a lovely get together of all my favorite peeps that live around us, and since it was a family-style event, the kiddos got to stay up just a little late to attend.
The hostess planned this cute little presentation that involved the young kiddos delivering some history about the blue moon, and it was so adorable and thoughtful.
I also enjoyed a little round of sugar cookie-making, and added some moon-style flair, tehe.
Other tidbits of the day…the hubby bringing home a cake with sparklers (was it absolutely necessary to put my age on there???):

I’m so grateful for another trip around the sun, and I’m already looking forward to the long holiday weekend ahead!
