The kiddos had another early release school day, and we managed to finish all homework and other life shenanigans/responsibilities early enough to ACTUALLY TACKLE A PROJECT!
A Crunch Labs bit of engineering, to be exact. This Mirror Bank, woohoo!
I feel like our “free” time for crafting and projects and doodling has been so nonexistent these days. It hurts my heart sometimes. So I’d like to give a major shout-out to the following factors that all came together to give us this opportunity:
I feel like our “free” time for crafting and projects and doodling has been so nonexistent these days. It hurts my heart sometimes. So I’d like to give a major shout-out to the following factors that all came together to give us this opportunity:
Early release school day…
Puppy Coda’s spaying procedure and the medicine that’s keeping her insanely calm (to be manageable)…
A Thursday free from extra-curricular.
Amen, Halleluiah.
Please note: I must be out of practice or apparently a bit lazy, because these pictures are kind of sub-par and boring, but just love me anyway.
The shtick behind this bit of engineering is an angled, hidden, one way mirror that lets an unsuspecting person drop a coin in the bank, only to watch it disappear. When you prompt them to pull back the lid to check, there’s a silly spider that pops out for kicks and giggles, tehe.
The kiddos were so tickled to test it out on Daddy when he made it home. :)
Grateful for this shred of normalcy and the good old times when we had, well, MORE TIME.

Happy Almost Friday, peeps!
More maƱana.
Over and out.
