Yesterday, the kiddos had an early release school day. I took advantage of the extra time to take my boy on a little mother-son shopping trip, considering he’s outgrown 95% of his clothes, right down to his socks, ha.
But the best part of our excursion might have been our Barnes trip toward the end, so we could secure two of the missing books in a series he loves. :)
Needless to say, we left with far more than the two books we planned to buy, and I’m officially sorry/not sorry. ;)
Lastly…Amazon has put out a series of short stories for Valentines by so many authors I adore. This yellow one below made me smile like a fool the whole way through, and I read it in two short sittings. So delightful.
