We managed some PAINTING, yesterday, which is an activity we love, but rarely have time for, these days!
But the highlight isn’t the fact that we managed the happy hours (yes, hours!) of painting, but, rather…that we managed the painting when I had a million other things to do.
I said screw it to everything else—even in spite of looming travel, this morning, and the corresponding packing—and made an active choice to stop and paint by numbers! ;)

Long gone are the simple days of easy peasy painting projects. We went big for this one, peeps. In fact, Little Man and I were the only ones to totally finish, yesterday; the others will be completed on the flip side of our trip!

Chica launched her sports conditioning camp yesterday morning, so she was fresh off her shower, afterwards. Hence the hair towel. She was in a fantastic, silly mood, though.

Such a simple joy to sit with my babies and force togetherness time, ha. All in the name of project time!

We had a brief intermission around midday for lunch, dishes and squishmallow squeezes, ha.

Then, back at it!

Love, love how Little Man’s coolio wooden one turned out.

Poor Chica selected the toughest one and might be working on it for weeks, ha. She’s determined, though!

And Chicklet’s is pretty close to done. :)

More from our adventure here in Colorado, sooooon, peeps!
I’m so stinking pleased with how mine turned out!
