Vail 2025–Day 1!

Hellooooo, peeps, from our annnual, early-Summer jaunt to…Colorado! The place that always makes our souls happy. :)

We’re doing another round in a couple of our favorite, tried-and-true spots: a few days in Vail, and then a few in Breckenridge. Nothing. But. Happy. Vibes.

The hubby pulled through, yet again, with a really wonderful place for us to stay. This gorgeous condo, right in Vail Village. It’s two levels, entirely renovated, and has beauuuutiful windows and views.

And, A/C! Which is not always a given in Colorado!

We arrived in Denver by midday, had brunch at our favorite spot (with the BEST gluten-free/dairy-free pancakes that always make the hubby emotional because he loves them so much, ha). 

By the time we made the drive to Vail, it was mid-afternoon, so I had the perfect activity planned for us:

I purchased this really fun annual scavenger hunt subscription service that has over 3,000 hunts in various cities around the world. I expected it to be mildly entertaining, but I’ll be honest: it exceeded my expectations!

With trivia questions, photo challenges and landmarks to find, it took us almost two hours and was really fantastic! And helped us log most of our five miles of walking today, ha.

I’m already so excited that we’ll have the chance for another hunt in Breckenridge and one in Utah, later this Summer. A fun and affordable way to keep ourselves entertained!

We have some really fun activities planned over our days up here, but, mostly, we’re just excited for our family time and temperatures that are glorious!
