Family Fun & Random Reflections

This past week or so has been chock-full of quality time with the peeps who are near and dear to us--siblings, parents, godparents, aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends. It's been an awesome chunk of summertime fun and the quality time is set to continue through the holiday--yay!

But the only teeny-tiny, itsy-bitsy downside to all the quality time and major events (ahem...someone's first birthday--that I still haven't posted pictures of!) is that I haven't had the time to blog about all the small but awesome (and often hilarious) daily happenings that really mark Chica's growth and development. 

Things like her new pterodactyl screeching during mealtimes, or her tentative steps behind her musical walker, or her increase in mimicking and attentiveness to a stuffed musical toy.

The little things are the best.

And the casual posting of them is by far my favorite thing to share on this here blog.

So here's hoping that in another week or so (after some more wonderful family fun time), I'll get back to that.

And here's hoping you'll stick with me until then.
