Coffee Tree

Who knew a teeny-tiny tree could provide so much entertainment for my teeny-tiny two-year-old?

I did!

So I saved it for a day when we needed a little diversion, and today was that day, my friends.

I dubbed it the coffee-themed tree a few years back, and Chica was totally smitten by the ornaments. She sat up on the barstool in the kitchen and played and examined and smiled.

And, yes, she might've broken one delicate ornament by accident (only because she was trying to actually pour the coffee into the mug) but it was hard to be upset when I watched her pretend to drink from of the coffee cup ornaments.

I know I'm a broken record, but I continue to get so much joy out of seeing these holiday decorations through her eyes.

Such a treat.

Too bad Chicklet missed this round of fun, but the cute little stinker was taking the longest morning nap she ever has...whilst contractors were downstairs hammering, sawing and using nail guns. Go figure.

More on the contractors and the house projects they're taking care of when things are done.

Assuming I still have my sanity by then.

;)

Happy Hump Day, peeps!
