My Privileged Princess

If you've spent about 2.5 seconds on this here blog, you've probably figured out that:

1. I'm one crazy-happy Mama (emphasis on the crazy).
2. I have two beautiful, crazy-happy girls.
3. The eldest of those girls is a wee bit obsessed with princess dresses. (Ahem...understatement alert.)

In my defense...the majority of Chica's Princess dresses came into her life because of gift occasions. Sofia? Christmas present. Belle? Birthday. Elsa--Halloween; Rapunzel--another Christmas. But there have been a couple she received just because she loves 'em, which makes her one blessed little girl.

Exhibit A: Anna came home on a special day out with Daddy.

And Exhibit B: Merida was purchased that same day because she was on clearance.

And now, we've begun to face another princess dress phase. Upsizing!

In the last month or so, I've had to replace a couple that she's outgrown, and you know what? I'm A-okay with that. Because the joy they've brought her--and others--is priceless (and because I don't have to buy her regular clothes--ha).

I just have to make sure she never forgets what a gift they are. A privilege, not a right. But I have a feeling that won't be a hard thing to impress upon her.

Love my beautiful girl.

And I can't wait to see if her sister has a soft spot for the dresses, too.

Happy Weekend, peeps!
