Enter...cutie-pie, felt, cotton-stuffed woodland creatures (that's their official name).
It's the kind of project I luuuuurv, because it's easy-peasy, with no paint or glue or messy components involved. But plenty of sticker parts to keep Chica entertained in the construction process (and Chicklet challenged in the destruction process--ha).
We just started with these fun, felt animal shapes...
Then started adding eyes, ears, mouths, wings, feet, spots--you know, all the good stuff--from the included assortment of sticky-backed felt parts...
Chica started out all precise, but by the end, she was just determined to use every, single part included--even if it meant layering several up, ha.
And of course, Chicklet got her grabby paws in there, too ;)
Next came the uber-fun part: stuffing!
After they were good and plumped-up, we just had to close the flap that had a sticky-strip already placed, and then we added a string and clip to the top, as technically, the little guys are meant to be clipped onto a zipper or what not.
They're pretty dang cute (this one is Chica's fave), and the felt parts are just sticky enough that it'll take Chicklet a few days to completely destroy/dissemble, ha.
Another thumbs-up project.
Gotta say, we're probably about a year into our monthly Kiwi Crate membership and I can't see us stopping anytime soon.
They're almost always super fun, easy and not overly-complicated projects, and thus far, haven't even come close to being repetitive. And, they always involve enough parts to make duplicates--a major bonus for crafty siblings!
Win/win/win!
Happy My-Baby-Boy-Still-Hasn't-Decided-To-Come-Out-But-His-Days-Before-Eviction-Are-Numbered Thursday, peeps!
