Dance Class Day + Halloween Week =
COSTUMES!
(Drum roll, puh-lease)
Ta-daaaaaa!
I give you Chica, dressed as Fawn, (a plucky, animal fairy from the Tinkerbell movies), who officially looks like this:
I purchased the costume a couple of months ago, when we were at the height of our fairy obsession, so I was a bit worried she'd be over it by now. But, nope!
Luckily, I kept it hidden so it was all fresh and exciting. And, I mean, the boots alone are to die for. She luuuuvs them (rightly so). I see them well-worn into our future, ha.
And the beautiful, peachy-orange wings are lovely, and a fun shape.
Since Chica was going to be all dressed up for dance class. I didn't want Chicklet to feel left out. So I busted out her counterpart costume--Tinkerbell, naturally. And she responded like this:
Why, Mama?? Why are you doing this to me???
She just doesn't like to be burdened by clothes in general, ha. So I think the poof and tulle was a bit much, since it fit snugly.
That said, she was wildly obsessed with the shoes--that came complete with bells, so she tinkle/jingles when she walks. It's priceless.
So I just tossed a sweater-dress on her, let her keep the shoes, and went with it :)
Here are all the cutie-pies in class:
Hello, Pocahontas, Elsa, Fawn and Glenda (the Good Witch).
She had so much fun.
A couple bonus shots...
A close-up of the beautiful wings:
And a fairy in rest:
It's so fun to bust out these costumes. Here's hoping Chicklet warms to hers.
Yay, Halloween 2015!
P.S. I love love love my growing Baby Boy--who will also have a costume--even though he didn't appear in today's post!
