In fact, it was so stormy this morning while we were having breakfast, that the girls scurried away from the windows, and Chica went to go get a flashlight. Just in case ;)
So with the rain came the challenge of steppin' up my Mama entertainment duties. So we busted out our cake pop kit, and it was the perfect project to keep them busy and hyped up on sugar, ha. Oh, and bless Little Man for taking a cooperative nap!

Cute note here: when Chicklet started shaping her cake balls, she put one on the counter and started pushing it like a car, saying, "wheeee, wheeee." Too cute.
Here's a lovely, and once again, super-flattering shot that Chica took of me cleaning the floor (well, one of many times I cleaned the floor).
After they dried, we packaged a bunch of them up in cute, cellophane, Easter bags and dropped them in neighbors' mail boxes. It was fun, and the kids got a kick out of it--even just riding in the car in the pouring rain.
As a project bonus, later in the day, Chica put together some cute Easter egg ornaments, while the other two sat it out. It takes stamina for double-projects, ha.
It was loads of fun to burrow at home today, but I think we'll need to get out tomorrow. Rain or shine!
